I’m an old style Lululemon /Zella leggings girl having lived in the states. Since moving to Ireland I wanted to find local brands since Lululemon has changed their fabric. I tried the Adanola and found them way too thin and loose/stretchy they didn’t hold their shape. Then I tried a cheaper brand from Amazon and they were great actually but not enough compression. I couldn’t find that sweet spot and was tempted to go order Zella’s from the states and pay big shipping costs…finally I found these ones. I got confused with a similar named brand I found on Google and when I came back and found them on Instagram I had missed the promotional price by a day. I emailed customer service and they were back straight away and said they could see I had had the leggings in my basket the day before (I hadn’t gone downstairs to get my card so hadn’t come back to it then when I tried to find them I was
Mixing up the name online!) The customer service person jumped right away to get me the leggings at the day before price-wow-you don’t get that anywhere! The leggings arrived the next day-faster than Amazon!!! The leggings are the sweet spot I wanted-There is plenty of compression and I sized down. They are thin Fabric (not the original Lululemon type but not Adanola too thin slight sheen-somewhere in the middle and no shiny or sheen look -instead nice smooth but matte) and event though they are thin they are compressing enough to not push your weight up into your waist above the leggings to give you a muffin top- it just smooths everything-they’re really really good. I live in leggings-I know good from bad and I’m fussy! They are lovely and smooth and thin but not too thin to allow see through or see lumps and bumps. I’m 5’10 with athletic slim build but I have curves and i got the XS because I like everything held in. They are not see through, they are squat proof etc. I throw them in the wash and the dryer (I know not supposed to with leggings but look I am very busy and I live in leggings I can’t treat them like they’re precious!) and they come out perfect.
If I was to get really picky I would say if you are someone very tall like me and if you want them to come down below the ankle bone then you will want them longer-but these are 7/8s as indicated by the name and they look great showing a bit of ankle-they break the look of long black tights look on tall girls-I think they look great. On me personally I could do with a bit higher a top (as I’m getting older I guess!) but I’m very very tall so most won’t even have to think about that and they’re not an issue it’s just a preference (I’m feeling a bit puffy lately maybe in the waist!) -I do a lot of yoga etc and they don’t roll down so they’re high enough. The main point of these they just make your lower half sort of SMALLER looking, overall just smoother in smaller-they’re fantastic.
Overall 10/10 and shout out again to customer service for being excellent as doing that for me definitely caused me to buy these and now I will buy more pairs at full price, which for the quality of these is very reasonable. These are on par or better than lululemons at half or a third of the price!
